Qigong Practices

 MOUTH QIGONG

From “Chinese Medical Qigong”

Teeth tapping: Gently tap the upper and lower teeth together 36 to 72 times.

Tongue stirring: In ancient times, this was known as “scarlet dragon stirring the ocean.”  Circle the tongue along the gingiva clockwise and counterclockwise 9 to 18 times respectively.  Retain saliva in the mouth, stir it around 18 to 36 times.  Swallow in 3 gulps and mentally guide it down to the lower Dantian.

Help boost your kidneys and secure the root.  The kidneys govern bones and teeth are the surplus of the bones.  Tapping regularly can boost the kidney and secure the root.  Stirring tongue increases the secretions of the digestive glands and can improve digestion and absorption.
